Global Video Game Study
Global ViGS is a new global collaborative research project focused on problematic gaming, bringing together research teams from at least 55 countries, led by Toronto Metropolitan University (PI: Andrew (Hyounsoo) Kim, PhD). The project aims to examine gaming habits and behaviors among gamers worldwide, identify shared and culture-specific risk and protective factors, investigate the relationships between problematic gaming and a range of mental health symptoms, and understand intervention and recovery processes.
